Focused and deliberate, the ANDIAMO is a high-end AD/DA converter built for clarity at scale. Thirty-two channels of analogue I/O meet a flexible digital core, allowing signals to move seamlessly between analogue, MADI, and networked environments.
Housed in a compact 1U form, it brings the sonic character of the Prodigy platform into a more streamlined device, without losing precision. Routing, control, and redundancy are handled quietly in the background, keeping the system stable and the workflow uninterrupted.
Adaptable by design, ANDIAMO is less about fixed configuration and more about choosing the right connection for the system it supports.

FAQ
Which audio formats and protocols are supported?
ANDIAMO supports:
- MADI (via dual SFP ports)
- Optional RAVENNA / AES67
- Optional Dante
- Optional SoundGrid
This allows seamless integration into both traditional digital audio systems and modern audio-over-IP workflows.
How does the ANDIAMO handle redundancy?
ANDIAMO is designed for mission-critical environments and includes:
- Dual MADI ports for seamless redundancy
- Dual network ports for redundant audio-over-IP operation
- EARS™ automatic failover switching
- Dual redundant power supplies
These features ensure uninterrupted operation in live and broadcast applications.
How is the ANDIAMO controlled and configured?
The system is controlled via:
- globcon control software (Windows/macOS)
- Dedicated Ethernet port for remote management
- Front-panel controls for quick access to key functions
This allows both detailed system configuration and simple on-device operation.
Is the ANDIAMO suitable for touring and playback systems?
Yes. Its 1U form factor, high channel density, and robust redundancy features make it ideal for touring playback rigs and live production systems where space, reliability, and sound quality are critical.
Is the ANDIAMO suitable for audio-over-IP (AoIP) Broadcast systems?
Yes. With optional network modules, ANDIAMO supports AES67 and Dante, and is compatible with SMPTE ST 2110 workflows, making it suitable for modern broadcast and IP-based audio infrastructures.
Can I mix ANDIAMO versions in the same system?
Yes. All ANDIAMO models are designed to integrate into larger hybrid systems, and can be combined using format bridging (for example via MADI, Dante, or AES67 gateways depending on configuration).
In practice, many systems use a combination:
- MADI units for console and stage connectivity
- Dante or Ravenna units for network distribution
- SoundGrid units for dedicated live processing workflows
Because all variants share the same 32-channel AD/DA platform and globcon control ecosystem, they can operate side-by-side within larger DirectOut infrastructures without compromising workflow consistency.
