eMotion LV1 80 Channel Expansion

The Waves eMotion LV1 80-Channel Expansion is a software upgrade that expands the mixing capacity of your LV1 system, allowing engineers to handle larger productions and more complex routing setups without changing hardware.

With this expansion installed, a standard 64-channel LV1 system can be upgraded to 80 stereo channels, dramatically increasing the system’s mixing power. Because each LV1 channel can be configured as mono or stereo, the system can handle up to 160 inputs, making it suitable for large live productions, broadcast environments and complex multi-channel systems. 

The expansion also increases the console’s bus structure from 44 to 52 buses, adding eight additional buses that can be configured as either audio groups or monitor aux sends. This allows engineers to create up to 16 audio groups or up to 24 monitor aux mixes, offering greater flexibility for front-of-house or monitor mixing workflows. 

Delivered as a simple software license, the 80-Channel Expansion installs directly into existing LV1 systems—including modular LV1 setups or integrated consoles—making it an easy upgrade for engineers who need additional capacity for larger shows and productions.
