Waves SuperRack Performer is a powerful live plugin host that enables engineers to run Waves plugins in real time during live performances using a Mac or PC. Designed for flexibility and simplicity, it allows any mixing console to benefit from advanced plugin processing without requiring dedicated DSP hardware.
By connecting your computer to a mixer or audio interface via Core Audio (Mac) or ASIO (PC), SuperRack Performer streams audio from the console to your computer, processes it with plugins, and returns it to the mix in real time. This allows engineers to apply the same professional processing chains used in the studio—such as EQ, compression, vocal tuning, or saturation—directly in a live sound environment.
SuperRack Performer supports up to 64 stereo plugin racks, enabling complex processing setups across channels, groups, and buses. The interface is designed specifically for live operation, with fast routing, snapshot recall, and intuitive plugin control for use during performances.
Support for Waves and Third-Party Plugins
In addition to the extensive Waves plugin catalogue, SuperRack Performer also supports third-party VST3 plugins, allowing engineers to integrate their favourite processing tools into a live workflow.
This flexibility means you can build custom processing chains combining Waves plugins and third-party VST processors, giving you access to the sounds and tools you already rely on in your studio sessions.

SuperRack Performer vs SoundGrid
SuperRack Performer runs natively on your computer’s CPU, making it an accessible way to run plugins live without additional hardware.
For larger productions requiring ultra-low latency, redundancy and higher channel counts, Waves also offers Waves SuperRack SoundGrid, which runs plugins on dedicated SoundGrid DSP servers.
